Mille Lacs Area Tourism is proud to announce it’s partnership with Garrison Commercial Club, Onamia Civic Association, Isle Area Chamber of Commerce and TJ’s Liquor on a new Face Cut-Out Board photo opportunity project. Mille Lacs Tourism has placed four (4) boards around the lake to give visitors a fun photo opportunity. Each of the boards depicts Willie the Walleye Wacker partaking in activities that the Mille Lacs Lake area has to offer including biking, ATVing, bird/wildlife watching and of course fishing.
The boards were done with 5 year vinyl by local sign entrepreneur, Josh Madson, of TCI Signs & Graphics.
A couple of fun things will also be incorporated along with the Boards including geo-caching and a photo contest.
August is the official kick-off of the Face Cut-Out Board photo contest. Visitors can take their photo at the Boards and submit them to Mille Lacs Tourism via email or Facebook. They will then be entered to win drawings for area Chamberbucks and Gift Certificates throughout the year. Visit each of the 4 boards and be entered in the drawing 4 times. AND, it doesn’t stop there! Some of our members have also put Face Cut-Out Boards in place. Take your photo at their establishments and get yourself entered in to the drawing even more times!
