LodgingDining

The Mille Lacs Soo Line Trail is 11 miles of side-by-side paved and gravel multiple-use trails connecting Mille Lacs Kathio and Father Hennepin State Parks — passing through scenic forests and countryside along the way. If you’re lucky, you may even spot the mysterious albino whitetail deer that lives nearby.

Don’t forget to pack your swimming gear, Father Hennepin State Park features a beautiful beach and swimming area, the perfect spot to take a dip in Lake Mille Lacs during a break from your biking adventure.

The trail is the finest developed section of the Soo Line Rail roadbed that will eventually connect Genola, MN to Superior, WI. The trail provides a scenic tour for biking and rollerblading. See maps for biking trails.
